Actress Bharti Singh was arrested at his residence in Mumbai, India this morning.
She was abducted after cannabis was found in her home. Officials also invited her landlord, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, to answer questions.
Her arrest comes at a time when an in-depth investigation is underway into allegations of drug use in the Bollywood industry.
Ms Singh is best known for her role in comedy films.
The investigation began after the death of Bollwood actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June, which led to a spate of shootings in the country’s film and entertainment industry.
