Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has prayed for the long life and health of former President Goodluck Jonathan
In a statement issued by the president’s press secretary, Femi Adesina, the president made the prayer as Mr Jonathan turns 63 on Friday.
President Buhari said the actions of former President Jonathan have brought development and dignity to Nigeria.
President Buhari once again commended Jonathan for his commitment as the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the ECOWAS Commission to mediate and resolve the crisis in Mali.
