Nigeria Police Continue Crackdown On Protesters, Move Arrested Persons to Abuja

The Nigeria Police Power on Monday moved an EndSARS campaigner, Eromosele Adene, to the Government Capital Domain, to apparently stay away from any exhibition his confinement would cause.

Adene was captured throughout the end of the week for circulating flyers and approaching individuals to come out for a resumption of the dissent that was ruthlessly finished by the executing of dissidents at the Lekki Cost Door on October 20.

"He has been moved to Abuja and I think they chose to move him since they would not have the option to control the shock in Lagos," his sister, Onomene Adene, told PUNCH.

Police officers apparently observed the fliers Eromosele and his group dispersed, which had his telephone number, permitting him to be followed to his home.

"He was kept for more than 48 hours without bail. He was first taken to the CP's office in Lagos, at that point moved to Panti. At the point when the clamor began, he was moved to Zone F and on Monday morning, when the legal advisor visited the spot, we were told he had been moved," Onomene said.

Investigator General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, had prior advised all police orders to forestall further fights in their different states.
