The Petroleum Price Regulatory Commission of Nigeria (PPMC) has increased the price of crude oil to 155.17.
The BBC has contacted Bashir Danmalam, who is the chairman of the North West Petroleum Distributors Association and other states, confirming further that where the oil stations will now start selling oil between 168-170, contrary to 158 -160 previously sold.
He also told us that there is a possibility that from Friday this new system will be operational.
