Donald Trump is facing pressure from some of his main Republican parties to postpone his efforts to challenge Joe Biden’s victory in the US presidential election.
Former New Jersey governor and a close ally of the President, Chris Christie, described what the Trump legal team is doing as a disgrace to the nation.
Mr Trump’s former national security adviser, John Bolton, said the president’s actions were like opening the door or handing the country over to its enemies.
As well as his former security adviser, McMaster said Trump’s behavior seemed to cast doubt on voters.
More than two weeks after his election defeat, Mr Trump is still adamant that his victory has been rigged, but has failed to produce evidence.
