Donald Trump has once again faced a major setback in challenging the legitimacy of his US presidential election, which was won by Joe Biden.
Trump’s Republican lawmakers in Michigan state told the president that the state will confirm the results Monday after Mr. Trump invited them to the White House.
Deputies said they did not have enough convincing information to back up Joe Biden’s victory in the state, so any problem that could pose a threat must be postponed.
Earlier, Georgia Gov. Brain Kemp confirmed Biden as the winner of the state election, after officials confirmed the victory of the Democratic nominee.
