Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari will address the joint sitting of the National Assembly on Thursday.
Aide to the President on social media, Lauretta Onochie, posted the news on her Twitter account.
Although there is no certainty about what the president will talk about, it is expected that he will touch on the security issue.
Last week, parliament invited the president to appear before it and he accepted the invitation.
