Buhari will meet with the coronavirus control committee today

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari will meet his anti-cholera committee later on Tuesday, according to the presidency.

On Monday, the committee, headed by Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, again ordered new measures to fight the disease as a result of its second outbreak.

Although there is no certainty of what they will discuss, the committee will make recommendations to Buhari that could lead to the introduction of new measures such as the lockout law.

Among the orders issued by the committee yesterday, civil servants from level 12 onwards will work from home for up to five weeks.

And all schools across the country will remain closed until January 2021.

The committee stated that dance halls, bars and gymnasiums will remain closed in the country.

The committee also ordered the closure of restaurants.
