Saudi Arabia has suspended foreign flights for a week following reports of a new type of coronavirus in Europe.
The Saudi news agency reported that the country had closed all its land and sea borders.
In addition, the day-to-day level is expected to be extended by an additional week after a review by the Ministry of Health.
Other measures include:
Anyone who travels to Saudi Arabia from Europe or a country where the new strain has emerged after December 8, should be vaccinated for two weeks and then be tested for colonoscopy every five days.
Anyone who has traveled to or passed through Europe or the country where the new species has emerged in the last three months must test it.
