Fifteen people have died in ethnic clashes in Sudan

Clashes between two Sudanese tribes in South Darfur have killed at least 15 people and injured dozens more, the state news agency SANA reported.

Suna said "the dispute between two tribes over a water source has turned into a fight."

The clashes took place between the Fallata and Masalit tribes.

Clashes between the two tribes have resulted in several deaths in the past two years.

The crisis comes as UN and African Union peacekeepers prepare to leave Darfur on December 31.
