Argentina’s Lionel Messi has broken Pele’s record of 643 goals for a club, following his goal against Barcelona on Saturday.

Messi has made 17 appearances for Barcelona in Spain since making his debut in 2004.

The Brazil international has scored more goals for Santos than any other player in 19 seasons with the club.

Messi is one of the world’s most brilliant players for more than 10 years in a row, along with his Juventus counterpart Cristiano Ronaldo. The Brazil international has scored more goals for Santos than any other player in 19 seasons with the club.

But this season Messi is facing a setback for his Barcelona side, which some have blamed on him.

The move comes amid a row with the club over his decision to leave, with La Liga and Barcelona set to pay a fee before he leaves.

The condition is that any club interested in signing him must pay 700 million euros for the player.

Most clubs said they could not meet the conditions which led to Messi canceling his move last August.
