The Buhari administration has said it will not succumb to any threats or pressure, especially from those calling on the president to implement a request.

“This is a warning that such unpatriotic behaviors are useless and will not help because this government will not submit to any threat to take action due to pressure.”

Although the statement did not specify who it was referring to, it said what the country needed now was to address security concerns in the face of the fight against the cholera epidemic.

She said the president as the one elected under the constitution would continue to work with patriotic Nigerians and take appropriate measures to address the challenges facing the development of the country.
