The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) said 418 new cases of vkorona were reported in the country on Sunday.
Also, three other people lost their lives as a result of the disease.
A statement posted on the NCDC’s website said the latest cases were reported in 17 states including Lagos (113), Abuja (86), Abia (47) and Kaduna (39).
The others are Rivers (27), Katsina (22), Benue (14), Oyo (13), Kano (12), Enugu (8), Edo (7), Imo (7), Bauchi (6) and Ebonyi ( 6) Ogun (6), Ondo (4) and Nasarawa (1).
So far, a total of 73,175 people have been infected with cholera in Nigeria, of which 1,197 have died and 66,090 have been discharged from treatment centers after recovering.
