Bayero University in Kano, northern Nigeria, has said that all undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be re-launched online, starting in the second semester of this year.
It is part of a weekly magazine published by the university on Fridays.
The magazine quoted Sagir Adamu Abbas, the president of the university, as saying on Monday while reviewing the compliance of the law between the university staff and students.
He added that the undergraduates will start their studies on a GSP subject, due to the large number of students attending the course.
He said the university had already been licensed to use Zoom software which is the largest of all the post-secondary schools to accommodate 500 students at a time.
