Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has signed into law a law punishing those who abstain from law enforcement.

The chairman of the anti-epidemic committee and secretary to the government, Boss Mustapha, confirmed this in Abuja, saying the law was enacted in view of the spread of violations to curb the spread of the disease.

Victims include those who refuse to impose sanctions, wash their hands, give each other space and apply hand sanitizer.
