COVID-19 – The Nigerian government is planning to impose lockdown Abuja and Lagos



The Presidential Task Force is considering imposing a curfew in the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja, Lagos and Plateau.

Mukhtar Muhammed, a member of the commission, confirmed the incident on Friday, saying the increase in the number of cases was alarming, especially in the two states and Abuja.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC), the disease is most prevalent in Lagos with 46,935 infected people, followed by Abuja with 16,470 people and Plateau with 7,801.

New figures are still emerging, and mortality is on the rise.
