Lai Mohammed also said he had given NBC the go-ahead to start licensing programs for online media.

The move comes just days after Twitter deleted a message in a series of messages posted by President Muhammadu Buhari warning IPOB separatists.

Since the removal of President Buhari’s message, the presidency has said it is aware of the action taken by Twitter. And has sent a request to find out why the company deleted the message.
